Mrs. Theodora A. Randolph Memorial Ladies Side Saddle Race

Rules and Regulations

• Entry Fee: $25 each race (no entry fee for Parade)
• Entry applications accepted on first come, first serve basis
• Each race limited to 8 riders
• Start of Race is a line up
• All riders racing must wear ASTM/SEI helmet & safety vest
• Racing Over girth required
• All riders & mounts must be approved by Racing Director—fitness & lameness
  • Assessment Date: May 14th, 2016 at Masterson Station Park (Lexington, KY) 11am
• Out of town riders must have proof of side saddle experience
• Purse: $100, Julep Cup to winner, ribbons through 7th place

Parade

All race entries welcome to participate in parade, not required

MUST wear appointment wear or period costumes

Flat Race – Flat Race entries now closed

**NOTICE: The Mrs. Theodora A. Randolph Memorial flat race will be run at a canter/gallop pace.

**The Mrs. Theodora A. Randolph Memorial over fences race will be 2 miles.

• All riders & mounts must be at the KHP by 10am
• All trailers will be parked in infield
• Local riders must trailer in
• Out of town riders may reserve a stall—stall space is limited, call ahead for details

**ALL HORSES MUST HAVE CURRENT COGGINS & HEALTH CERTIFICATION TO ENTER THE KENTUCKY HORSE PARK**
